All you need to know about Marpha in Chitrakoot

Located at a mere distance of 4 km from Gupt Godavari; is a beautiful and spectacular tourist spot famous for its mighty waterfalls and natural beauty. The place has abundant attractions around it like the Jal Mochan Sarovar, Shri Balaji Mandir and the five-faced statue of Lord Shiva. The area also encompasses the remains of a majestic fort called the Chandel Fort which is said to be ruled by the Chandela kings. The place is famous amongst its local counterparts also where people can escape the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy some lone time alone or with family enthralling themselves for picnics.

Timings

There are no timings as such for the waterfalls, but the temples around the place remain open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the morning and from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM.
