As anticipation mounted leading up to Money Heist’s gripping final season, which arrived on Netflix in two thrilling installments in 2021, whispers of a spin-off began to circulate. Alex Pina, the brilliant mind behind Money Heist, tantalized fans by alluding to the possibility of delving deeper into the lives of characters we’ve come to adore from the flagship series.

Even before the official unveiling of Berlin, the popular character from Money Heist, Alex Pina, the show’s creator, shared with a magazine that he is open to the idea of a spin-off. He says,

“We do have many possibilities for some spinoffs, yes, and I think that’s thanks to the strong and powerful identities of the characters. We’ve always looked for characters to have a very complex, layered design. So I think almost every character of Money Heist has a duality that we would like to see in a spinoff. We could watch any of them in other contexts.”
