With your arrival at Jaipur railway station or airport, the beautiful journey of 7 days 6 nights starts. Our travel agent will meet you on your arrival and drop you at hotel for check-in formalities. You will get a glimpse of pink city while on your way to hotel, whole city is painted in a uniform shade of terracotta pink colour, that’s why it is also known as pink city. Spend some time relaxing and then leave for exploring the local markets, it’s fun to stroll around the markets. Enjoy local shopping, strive your hunger with delicious local platters and adore the company of friendly locals.
Day 2Day tour to Jaipur
Let’s begin the morning with a tasty breakfast at hotel followed by sightseeing of the pink city. Your first destination will be the symbol of royalty, City Palace. Home to maharajas with grand state rooms, amazing museums and pretty gates, next to the palace is Hawa Mahal, it’s a multi-windowed, frame like facade of City Palace. Without wasting any extra time, we will take you to the major attraction of the city, Amer fort. It’s a huge fort, 11 km away from the city, you can also enjoy elephant safari here. Jaigarh fort is another famous fort. On the way back, you can visit Jal Mahal and witness sunset from Surya Mandir. The capital city Jaipur offers best of colours and history. After travelling through the streets of old and new Jaipur, back to hotel to spend the night.
Day 3Jaipur to Jodhpur (335 km in 6 hrs. approx.)
With memories of Pink city, it’s time to leave for Blue City, Jodhpur. It’s almost 6 hrs. journey, so have your breakfast early and start the travel timely. Jodhpur was built as a new capital of the Marwar to replace its ancient capital Mandore, that’s why the people of Jodhpur and surrounding areas are known as Marwaris. The city receives bright sun rays throughout the year that’s why it is also known as sun city and it is believed that, to fight with this wrath of hotness the whole old Jodhpur city is painted in cool & soothing blue color. Once reached you will be dropped at hotel and then rest of the evening at leisure or you can wander around the medieval avenues of the Sun City, shopping for famous Rajasthani artifacts such as juttis, bright bandhani, Rajasthani mojris at famous local markets.
Day 4Day tour to Jodhpur
Fourth day of your tour is dedicated to the sightseeing of Jodhpur, a gateway to Thar desert. The 2nd largest city of Rajasthan, not only famous among travellers for its beautiful heritage hotels and forts, but for its beautiful temples & palaces too. Mehrangarh Fort is the best example of its colossal history. The hand imprints of the women who committed sati centuries ago, is still visible on the walls. The fort stands high as an example of the victory overlooking the Jodhpur city. It’s a red sandstone fort typically in contrast to the blue colour of the city. Next to the fort is Jaswant Thada, and Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park, spread over 72 hectares an ecologically restored zone designed to restore the desert ecology that once existed in the area and died out over the years. While on your way back to hotel, relish the delicious Jodhpuri Mirchi vada and Pyaaz ki Kachori.
Day 5Jodhpur to Jaisalmer (284 km in 5 hours approx.)
From the gateway to Thar, you will now move towards the heart of Thar desert, Jaisalmer, a world heritage site, standing high on a ridge of yellow sandstone. And because of its bounteous golden dunes flowing in Thar Desert, it is also known as “Golden desert”. It’s around 284 km journey followed by 5 hrs. of drive. Its surely the best place to enjoy the real desert of Rajasthan with unmatched location and views.
Day 6Day tour to Jaisalmer
Have your breakfast as early as possible to leave on time and get the maximum time exploring the most sought location of Rajasthan. There are many famous desert activities that tempts a tourist, especially desert safari is a must whenever you are in the city. Apart from this; Parasailing, Quad biking, Camel safaris and camping in the desert is a totally different, luxurious and mind-blowing experiences. After having a good time at desert land, we will take you to admire the glory of Jaisalmer; the Jaisalmer fort. A yellow sandstone fort which shines like Gold during sunset. More than a fort, it was a residential complex with many beautiful havelis, houses, temples etc built by Bhatti Rajput in 1156 AD situated at Trikura Hill. During sunset it shines like gold because of its yellow sandstone and that’s why it is known as “Sonar Kila” which means Golden Fort. Jaisalmer is a city with a blend of desert land and amazing architecture and if you are an architectural lover, you will find lots of havelis and forts to thrive your hunger. Later, back to hotel for overnight stay.
