This 10 days 9 nights tour will take you through the major forts, temples and lakes while taking you on a ride of major cities of Rajasthan. Including Delhi and Jaipur, a part of golden triangle tour.
You will remain equally excited throughout the trip because every city is unique, offering different views and adventures, leaving you crave for more. Rajasthan is so attractive with its folklore, colours and celebrations that while reaching towards the end of the trip you will wish to hold the time and extend the trip.
The first stoppage of your trip will be the capital of the country, Delhi. Once you will arrive at Delhi railway station or airport, our travel guide will pick you up and then drop you at the pre-booked hotel. Delhi is a place where you can literally witness the two eras together, while moving from old Delhi to New Delhi. Once reached, do the check-in formalities, have some refreshment and relax. Explore the nearby markets in the evening and get back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2Explore Delhi
After breakfast in hotel, we will leave for exploring the capital city, start from Birla Temple towards the old city and remember the visit to the old city is totally incomplete without visiting Chandni chauk, for shopping freak and foodies it’s a bliss. After trying yummy street foods and shopping from the market we will take you to the famous Lotus temple. Iskon temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna is next to it after that we will visit the major attraction of the city Akshamdham temple. On your way to hotel you will have a glimpse of India gate and Rashtrapati Bhawan. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3Delhi to Ajmer to Pushkar (415 km in 7 hrs approx.)
We will leave early morning after breakfast in hotel, so that we can cover Ajmer while on our way to Pushkar. Ajmer is famous for Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the domed shrine of Muslim Sufi saint Garib Nawaz. After exploring the Dargah we will drive towards Pushkar, the sacred city of Hindus with only Brahma temple. We will take you to the hotel first, do the check -in formalities, relax for a while then we will start the city tour from Brahma temple. Pushkar lake next to the temple is another captivating site. Pushkar is home to almost 400 temples and many Ghats, so you have lots of sites to explore and then back to hotel. For overnight stay.
Day 4Pushkar – Jaipur (145 km in 2 hrs 32 min)
Next to the sacred site we will drive towards the lovely pink city, capital of Rajasthan. Have your breakfast and then get ready for a drive of almost 2 hrs 30mins. Jaipur is famous for its fort, royal residencies and market as well as gemstones. Tourist come to explore the pink city while keeping some spare time for shopping. After check in formalities leave on a shopping spree and satisfy your taste buds with mouth-watering local street food. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5Jaipur city tour
In the morning, enjoy delicious breakfast in hotel and then we will start the sightseeing of pink city with a drive of 11 km from city towards Amber fort. The fort has a good collection of works of art, fine arts, arms and different assets from the regal family. We will then move towards city while covering beautiful Naragarh fort. City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Janatar mantar, Jal Mahal, Surya Mandir are few important and lovely sites. Add on to this is the Raj Mandir Cinema, an oldest theatre, which is now a popular symbol in Jaipur. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6Jaipur – Jodhpur (335 km in 6 hrs approx.)
Leave early as you have to cover a long way, its almost 338 km which will take around 5 hrs to reach. After breakfast, we will drive towards the Suncity or blue city, Jodhpur. It’s the second largest city of Rajasthan established by Rao Jodha in 1459. Do the check in formalities, have refreshment and take rest. Later in the evening wander around the streets of the city to get closer to the old Jodhpur and try the local food. Back to hotel and have a sound sleep.
Day 7Jodhpur to Ranakpur to Mount Abu (4 hrs, 30 min/ 262 km)
After breakfast we will check out from the hotel and start city tour with the famous Mehrangarh Fort. One of the largest fort of its kind, Overlooking the city, built out of red sandstone in a complete contrast to the blue houses of the city. The enthralling marks of cannon balls and hand imprints of the women who committed sati centuries ago, is still visible on the walls. Museum is a must to have a look at the artefacts collected by Maharajas in their time. Next is Jaswant Thanda, a cenotaph built by Maharaja Sardar Singh in memory of his father.
Then we will drive towards Mount abu while visiting Ranakpur Jain sanctuaries or Chaturmukha Dharanavihara, a famous Jain temple dedicated to Tirthankara Rishabhanatha. Once you reach the hill station of Rajasthan, check-in at pre-booked hotel and enjoy the overnight stay.
Day 8The day tour of Mount Abu
Have your breakfast in a lovely hill station amidst the nature and leave for sightseeing of the city. Dilwara Temples a famous Jain temple, which is a group of five temples, built using white marbles during 11th and 13th century and devoted to Jain Tirthankara. Followed by Nakki Lake, the most famous attraction in Mount Abu situated in the backdrop of Aravalli. The only artificial lake in India, enjoy boating and rock climbing here. Guru Shikhar, the highest mountain peak situated at 1,722 m above sea level, the best location to get the aerial view of the city. Apart from these sites you can also visit Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary and end your day with the beautiful view of sunset from Sunset point. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9Mount Abu – Udaipur (164 km in 3 hrs)
The last destination of your tour, the romantic city of Rajasthan. Admire the sublime lobbies with mosaics and intricate mirror work of City Palace situated on the banks of Lake Pichola, the most famous lake. Followed by Lake Pichola, you can enjoy the boat ride and sunset from here and Bagore-ki-Haveli. Dominated by artificial lakes, the other beautiful sites are Fateh Sagar Lake, Sahelion-ki-Bari a remarkable garden next to the lake. Monsoon palace enjoy the panoramic view of Udaipur from the palace. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 10Time for departure.
The relaxing time ends here, after breakfast at hotel our executive will drop you at railway station or airport from there you will head back to your homes with lots of memories, stories and gifts to share with your loved ones.
