Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan will welcome you with open arms. Once reached, our travel agent will pick you up from the railway station or airport and you will be dropped at pre-booked hotel, do the check in formalities and then leave to enjoy the street of pink city. The complete city is painted uniformly in shade of terracotta pink, that’s why the city is known as pink city. Let’s start with City palace which was a home to maharajas with grand state rooms, amazing museums and pretty gates, next to the palace is Hawa Mahal, a multi-windowed, frame like facade of City Palace, you will get its best view from Siredeori Bazaar, if you have time visit Jantar mantar. Day 2Jaipur Sightseeing
Have your breakfast and get ready to explore beautiful and most important fort in Jaipur, Amer Fort. With the amazing architecture of the royal fort, you can also relish the elephant safari here. Next will be Jaigarh Fort which overlooks Amer fort and known as Victory Fort built by Jai Singh II in 1726 to protect the Amer Fort. One of the best example of Mughal and Rajput style of architecture. Later on, you can spend your day watching movie in the world’s second-best Cinema Rajmandir. Admire the beauty of Birla Temple, Albert Hall and Rambagh Palace Hotel in the evening. Don’t forget to spend some time wandering in the markets, enjoying local shopping and local food to observe the real culture of the heritage city.
Day 3 Jaipur to Udaipur (393 km in 7 hrs approx.)
It’s time to leave the pink city and travel towards the lovely city of lakesr. It’s a journey of almost 393 km which will take around 7hrs of drive. Have your breakfast and check out early, so that you can visit Ajmer on the way to spend some peaceful time at renowned Dargah Kwaja Sahib and have a glimpse of Chittorgarh fort. After that we will drop you at hotel in Udaipur. Udaipur is a favourite destination among artists, painters, authors because of its artistic design & sites. Also, it is one of the popular romantic destinations in Rajasthan. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4Udaipur Sightseeing
City Palace in Udaipur is one of the major attraction situated on east bank of Lake Pichola. This palace was built in 400 yrs. and it’s one of the largest in its type designed in Rajasthani & Mughal style. We will start from this biggest royal residence complex with the museums consisting different artefacts collected by Maharajas of Udaipur during their time. Followed by beautiful artistic Pichola lake, the most happening lake of the city. It’s an artificial lake built in 1662 and got its name from the surrounding Picholi village. Enjoy stunning view of sunset from the lake. Fateh Sagar Lake is another famous artificial lake named after Maharana Fateh Singh. Saheliyon- Ki -Bari, situated near the lake is a must visit to appreciate the stunning and well maintained lush green garden in a desert. It was founded by Maharana Sangram Singh for his queen and Queen with her friends used to visit this Garden to spend the hours of peace. You can also visit Jagdish Temple and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir. In the evening stroll around the market buy few gifts for your dear ones and then back to hotel.
Day 5Udaipur to Pushkar (277 km in 5 hrs approx.)
Our agent will pick you up and then you will start your voyage towards one of the peaceful and pilgrimage city of Hindus in Rajasthan. Pushkar is surrounded by pleasant valley and beautiful sceneries. It is famous for the only temple devoted to Lord Brahma as per Hindu mythology. Along with 52 washing Ghats and 400 milky blue temples it’s a famous destination throughout the year but it witnesses the large number of tourists from all over the world during camel fair. The important sites in Pushkar are Brahma Temple, Nag Hill which is a beautiful small hill that separates Pushkar from Ajmer, Pushkar Lake a holy site, Pap Mochini Temple, Markendeya Rishi Ashram, Agastya Muni Ashram and Gaya Kund. Spend your evening in the Bazaars, meeting the friendly locals and enjoying the local food.
Day 6Pushkar to Jaipur (150 km in 3 hrs approx.)
It’s time to bid adieu to Pushkar and go back to Jaipur with the beautiful collection of pictures and memories of these incredible 6-days and 5-night tour of Rajasthan. After breakfast, you will be dropped back to the Jaipur railway station or airport from where you will travel back to your homes with lots of gifts and stories to share with your friends and family.
