One of the most sought, colourful and vibrant city in India famous for its culture, history, architecture, unique handicrafts, mouth-watering food, camels and elephant’s safari along with the happy peoples with big moustache, turbans, and ghoonghat welcoming you with an open heart and a big smile on their faces. This 10 days 9 nights package covers almost all the major beautiful locations of Rajasthan.
We will start from the capital city, also known as the Pink city, Jaipur. We will pick you up from Jaipur railway station or bus stand as per your scheduled arrival then we will drop you at the hotel for check-in formalities. Rest of the day at leisure or you can spend the evening strolling around the markets, trying the local foods and shopping unique handicrafts and antiques for your dear ones. Enjoy your night relaxing in the hotel.
Day 2Jaipur Sightseeing
Have your breakfast on time, so that you can start early and get maximum time to explore the beautiful city painted in uniform terracotta pink colour. We will start with a 11km drive from the city, towards Amber fort. One of the largest fort in its kind and most famous attraction with exemplary architecture. Don’t forget to enjoy the Elephant safari here, after that you will be back to explore the sites in the city while covering beautiful Naragarh fort on the way. City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Janatar mantar, Jal Mahal, Surya Mandir are few important sites. Add on to this is the Raj Mandir Cinema, an oldest theatre and now a popular symbol in Jaipur. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3Jaipur to Udaipur (394 km in 6 hrs. 30 mins approx.)
It’s a time for long drive of around 394 km, which will take around 7 hrs. Have your breakfast in the hotel and then check-out for the lovely City of lakes. Once reached we will drop you at hotel, do the check-in formalities and rest for a while. You will get some leisure time in the evening, that you can utilise in local shopping and strolling around the streets. Enjoy local food and spend rest of the evening in hotel.
Day 4Udaipur Sightseeing
Enjoy the delicious breakfast blend with the Rajasthani taste and spices. We will then take you for the city tour of lovely Udaipur. Starting with the amazing City Palace situated on the banks of Lake Pichola, one of the most famous lakes. Lake Pichola is another important site, you can enjoy the boat ride and sunset from here. Udaipur is dominated by beautiful lakes, incredible sunset points, amazing forts, palaces and havelis which makes the city one of the most romantic places of India. Fateh Sagar Lake another major artificial lake, Sahelion-ki-Bari a remarkable garden is next to the lake. Monsoon palace is another the best location to enjoy the beautiful sunset and the panoramic view of Udaipur. Once the city tour is done you will be dropped back to hotel.
Day 5Udaipur to Mount Abu
Next voyage is towards another romantic destination, the hills of Rajasthan. Have your breakfast and then our travel guide will drop you at the hotel in Mount Abu. Do the check-in formalities and leave for the day tour of the city. Mount Abu is situated near Gujarat border in Aravalli range on a high rocky plateau, surrounded by forest, so it offers relatively cool climate as compare to the hot deserts. Nakki Lake is a popular site to enjoy the boating amidst the nature. Dilwara Jain Temples, famous for its amazing marble architecture. Guru Shikhar, is a famous location for nature lovers, trekking and photography. Sunset Point, the most visited place to witness the remarkable sunset. Trevor’s crocodile Park, Wildlife Sanctuary and Gaumukh are worth visiting. Overnight stay at hotel in Mount Abu.
Day 6Mount Abu to Jodhpur (262 km in 4 hrs. 30 mins approx.)
Check-out time, pack your bags and have breakfast in the hotel before leaving for another long drive of around 4 hrs 30 mins towards the blue city, Jodhpur. Once a capital of Marwar kingdom, it’s now a well-known tourist destination in Rajasthan. Famous for its astounding architecture and engineering, the captivating Mehrangarh Fort over a hillock and spectacular Umaid Bhawan Palace, which presently is one of the world’s best legacy lodgings. Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park, spread over 72 hectares, is an ecologically restored zone designed to restore the desert ecology that once existed in the area and died out over the years. While on your way back to hotel, relish the delicious Jodhpuri Mirchi vada and Pyaaz ki Kachori.
Day 7Jodhpur to Jaisalmer (283 km in 4 hrs. 30 mins approx.)
Get ready for a drive of almost 5 hrs, from the gateway of Thar to the heart of Thar desert. After breakfast we will drive you towards Jaisalmer, certainly the best destination portraying the real beautiful desert of Rajasthan. Once reached do the check-in formalities, have some refreshment, relax and then you can enjoy the nearby markets, the beauty of desert land and its streets. Back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 8Jaisalmer Sightseeing
Jaisalmer is all about forts, havelis and desert land. Leave for city tour, after lavish breakfast in the hotel. Jaisalmer fort or Sonar Kila is a glory of Jaisalmer located in the centre of the city, a yellow sandstone fort which shines like Gold during sunset. Next to it is Nathmal Ki Haveli famous for its architectural design with a fusion of Rajput and Mughal style. You will find many famous and tempting desert activities, especially desert safari which is a must whenever you are in town. Apart from this; Parasailing, Quad biking, Camel safaris and camping in the desert is a totally different, luxurious and mind-blowing experiences
Day 9Jaisalmer to Pushkar
On your 9th day, our travel guide will take you to the sacred land of Rajasthan. One of the famous pilgrimage site for Hindus, because it is believed to have the only Brahma temple, Pushkar Lake next to the temple is another major site. After breakfast we will leave for Pushkar, once reached do the check-in formalities and then we will leave for sightseeing of the city. With 400 temples and various ghats it attracts lots of tourists every year. You can also enjoy camel safari and hot air balloon rides. Camping in desert is a unique and enthralling experience here. The site of Brahma Temple during evening is charming with the chime of night puja and lights. Stroll around the streets and then back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10Departure time, Pushkar to Jaipur Railway station or Airport
This day will mark an end to the amazing tour of royal cities of Rajasthan. After the last delicious Rajasthani style breakfast, we will drop you at Jaipur Railway station or Airport. With lots of amazing memories bid farewell to the city.
