However, throughout the cities, colourful and royal culture along with the amazing architecture, handicrafts, delicious food and awesome hospitality is common. In this tour package you will be exploring the capital city Delhi while witnessing the blend of two different era in streets of old and new Delhi. Then you will move towards the royal Rajasthan, a northern Indian state bordering Pakistan. Its palaces and forts are reminders of many realms that historically vied for the region.
A beautiful blend of old and new, Delhi is a city worth visiting with forts, temples and lots of markets to shop around. Once reached, our executive will pick you up from Delhi Airport or railway station and then drop you at pre-booked hotel. Have some refreshments and then without wasting time leave for exploring the city, start with Humayun’s Tomb, a perfect example of Mughal architecture. Followed by Qutub Minar, India Gate, President House. The sightseeing will end with Birla temple. Later in the evening enjoy nearby markets, try street food and enjoy shopping. Day 2Delhi to Mandawa (260 Km in 06 hrs approx.)
Have your breakfast and then visit Old Delhi including Jama Masjid, the biggest mosque in India and chandani chauk, the oldest, biggest and famous market. After that we will leave for Mandawa a quaint little town in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, located in the heart of the Shekhawati region. Famous for its very popular Mandawa Fort. Once reached check-in at hotel and then leave for exploring the city, a remarkable getaway for people fond of art and culture. Mandawa is famous for its painted havelis, all the havelis are painted beautifully with murals on the walls and ceilings portraying Rajput rulers, traditions, mythological events and daily happenings. After witnessing the beautiful havelis and enjoy the night in hotel.
Day 3Mandawa to Bikaner (190 Km in 04 hrs approx.)
On your 3rd day, we will leave for the desert town, Bikaner. Have your breakfast and let’s drive towards the northwest state of Rajasthan, founded by Rao Bika in 1488. Check-in at hotel and leave for city tour. Vibrant deserts, marvellous forts, desert safaris make Bikaner a blooming beauty of Thar desert. Bikaner is rightly known as one of the three great desert kingdoms of Rajasthan. You will start the tour with Junagarh Fort, fort of royal family built by Raja Rai Singh, the sixth ruler of Bikaner with a museum displaying weapons and ornaments from the old era. Karni Mata Temple, Lalgarh, Shivbari Temple, Rampuriya Haveli are other famous sites to explore. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4Bikaner to Jaisalmer (332 Km in 05 hrs. 30 mins drive)
After breakfast you can discover few more sites of Bikaner and then leave for Jaisalmer, the heart of Thar desert. Once reached, do the check-in formalities, have some refreshment and enjoy some time at leisure in hotel.
Day 5A day at Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer is a medieval town with amazing structures. Famous for variety of desert activities. Have your breakfast and then leave for desert safari, a must activity when you are in the town. Apart from this; Parasailing, Quad biking, Camel safaris and camping in desert is a totally different, luxurious and mind-blowing experiences. After spending good time at desert, we will take you to admire the glory of Jaisalmer; the Jaisalmer fort, which shines like gold during sunset and that’s why also known as “Sonar Kila” which means “Golden Fort”. Later Enjoy the feel of patriotism at Indo-Pakistan border and the spiritualism in Jain temples. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 6Jaisalmer to Jodhpur (284 Km, 4 hrs. 30 mins approx.)
Have your breakfast early and leave for suncity, a city painted in blue colour which receives bright sunlight throughout the year. Check-in at hotel in Jodhpur and leave for city tour after some refreshment and rest. Let’s visit the most important site Mehrangarh Fort, standing tall as a symbol of their glorious past and rich culture. Jaswant Thada situated at the entrance of the fort, a cenotaph built in 1899 by Maharaja Jaswant Singh II in remembrance of his father.
Day 7Jodhpur to Mount Abu (262 Km, 5 hrs drive)
From the hot sun city of Rajasthan, we will now travel to the hill station. After breakfast we will start the drive of almost 264 km. We will start city tour from Dilwara Temples a famous Jain temple, built using white marbles and are devoted to Jain Tirthankara. Nakki Lake, another most renowned attraction in Mount Abu situated in the backdrop of Aravalli. You can also visit Guru Shikhar, the highest mountain peak situated at 1,722 m above sea level, to enjoy trekking and get an astounding aerial view of the city. Ancient Guru Dattatreya Temple is situated at this peak. In the evening back to hotel and relish the overnight stay.
Day 8Mount Abu to Ranakpur to Udaipur (161 km -91 Km in 5 to 6 hrs approx.)
Wake up and have your breakfast then we will leave for Udaipur while visiting Ranakpur Jain sanctuaries or Chaturmukha Dharanavihara, a famous Jain temple dedicated to Tirthankara Rishabhanatha. After driving for almost 6 to 7 hrs you will reach Udaipur, the city of lakes. Once reached, do the check-in formalities, take rest and have a sound sleep in hotel.
Day 9Udaipur tour
The day is dedicated to the city tour of lovely city of lakes. Enjoy your breakfast in royal ambience, amidst the awesome hospitality and start the day tour with royal city palace, an exemplary architecture and the largest fort of its time built in around 400 yrs. Followed by Lake Pichola, you can enjoy the boat ride and sunset from here. Other important tourist spots are Fateh Sagar Lake, Sahelion-ki-Bari a remarkable garden next to the lake. Jagdish sanctuary and Monsoon palace, adore the panoramic view of Udaipur from the palace. Stroll around the markets in evening and do shop the unique handicrafts. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 10Udaipur to Chittorgarh to Pushkar (310 Km in 07-08 Hrs approx.)
After breakfast at hotel, we will drive towards sacred city of Rajasthan, Pushkar while driving thorough Chittorgarh, known for its honey-coloured, 7th-century Chittorgarh Fort, perched upon a hill with the remains of many temples and monuments. Once reached Pushkar, visit the only Brahma temple next to it is Pushkar lake, which is believed to be created by Lord Brahma. Home to 400 sanctuaries and 52 Ghats Pushkar a paradise for Hindu. Famous among the travellers from all over the world for “Pushkar Fair”. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 11Pushkar to Jaipur (145 Km in 03 hrs approx.)
The city is close to Jaipur, so you can enjoy the glimpse of Pushkar’s markets after breakfast in hotel and later leave for Jaipur. Once reached the Pink city, you can visit city and enjoy the royal city palace and Hawa Mahal next to it which is a multi-windowed, frame like facade of City Palace. Next to it is Jantar Mantar. Wander around the street, try local delicious food and buy souvenir for your dear ones. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 12It’s time to go back: Jaipur to Delhi (273 Km in 6 hrs approx.)
Enjoy the last breakfast of the tour in Rajasthani style and taste. Check-out from the hotel and then we will drive you towards the Amber fort, which is 11 km away from the city, while visiting Jaigarh fort on your way. Both the fort, stand high depicting the royal architecture and rich heritage of Jaipur. You will reach Delhi in almost 5 hrs.
Day 13Back to where it began: Delhi
In the morning our executive will drop you back at Delhi railway station or airport, from where you have started the trip. Its time say goodbye with the memories of an amazing time spend at the royal Rajasthan amidst amazing people and hospitality.
