Day 1 – Arrive at Gangtok
Arrive at the NJP railway station/ IXB Airport and then transfer to Gangtok. Check-in to a hotel on arriving and rest for the night at the hotel only.
Day 2 – Gangtok Local Sightseeing
Have a delectable breakfast and leave for a full day city tour covering Hanuman Tok, Ganesha Tok, Tashi view point, Cottage industry, flower show and Handicraft centre, Institute of technology, Ranka Monastery, Dro-dul Chorten & Banjakhri Falls. After the tiring tour, have delicious dinner back at the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 3 – Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
After having breakfast start for an excursion to Tsongmo Lake, situated at an altitude 12,400 ft and Baba Mandir, situated at a height of 13,200 ft, 55 km away from Gangtok City. Overnight at Gangtok.
Day 4 – Gangtok – Pelling
After having an early breakfast, proceed to Pelling which 120 km away from Gangtok and takes up to 5 hours to reach. After arriving, go for a small sightseeing tour of Pelling including places such as Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfalls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake and Khangchendzongha waterfalls. Head back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 – Pelling sightseeing & transfer to Darjeeling
Have breakfast and check out before leaving for the remaining sightseeing tour of Pelling. Visit places like Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse ruins, New Halipad ground. Later in the afternoon, transfer to Darjeeling which is 5 hours’ drive away from Pelling. Check in and spend the night at Darjeeling.
Day 6 – Darjeeling sightseeing
Drive to Tiger hills early in the morning around 4:00 am to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha, world’s 3rd highest peak at an altitude of 28,208 ft. Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on your way back. After having breakfast, proceed to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing rock, P.N Zoological park, Tea garden and Japanese temple. Head back to hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7 – Back home
Check out after having delectable breakfast and leave for railway station/airport to head back home along with your loved one and cherish the time spent together as an everlasting memory for life.
