DAY 1 – The enthralling and angelic beauty of Shimla is defined with its most famous tourist destination of the Ridge. The place is located at the center of the town and offers you the spectacular views of the icy peaked mountains peaks. The hill station has the Jakhoo Hill adoring the crown as its highest peak. The hill peak is always snow capped and has a religious home of Jakhoo Temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The hill is located at an altitude of 8500 feets above the sea level. Your trip to Shimla is incomplete without your visit to the Mall Road. The place has a mesmerizing view decorated with shops, cafes, restaurants, book shops and many other tourist destinations. Also the scenic beauty offered at this place is a total spectacle to watch.
DAY 2 – Get an early head start for the day with the Christ Church. The intricate architecture in a Neo Gothic style is alluring and stupefying. The church was built in the year 1857 and took around 3 years for completion. The church is decorated with stained glass windows, clock tower and some frescos illustrating the exquisite beauty of the architectural marvel. The church also houses the largest organ pipe of India. The Rashtrapati Niwas constructed in the year 1888 overlooking the Observatory Hill on top of the Viceregal Lodge. You can visit the garden and lure the summer hill. The quaint views of the Summer Hill also called as the Potter’s Hill. The hill served as a pottery making platform during erstwhile times and is frequented by a number of visitors owing to its spectacular views. Grazing the Himalayan foothills, Kufri is a must visit place for adventure lunatics and nature lovers. The last resort for the day Annandale or Annadale is a flat terrain used as a playground during British rule.
DAY 3 – The Shimla State Museum built in the year 1974 abodes the top of the Mount Pleasant. The building is constructed in colonial style and is full of cultural richness. The city displays stunning masterpieces and artifacts. Next visit the Arki Fort a total amalgamation of Rajput and Mughal architecture. It was built in the year 1660 and is decorated with Kangra paintings. Visit the picturesque destination of the Naldehra was designed by Lord Curzon to function as a gold course. You can even view spectacular signs of sunrise and sunset.
