Best time to Visit Yuksom

To enjoy the cool breeze and pleasant weather, visit in the months of March- June, though in winters the temperature dropdowns if you are planning to trek, avoid the monsoon season, i.e. in between the months of June-September. For sightseeing and treks its best to visit in the month of October when the weather is fantastic, amble in peaceful historical town.

How to Reach

Air– Bagdogra Domestic Airport is located at a distance of 160 km, and it serves flights from Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. You have to book a cab or bus to traverse through Yuksom.

Rail– Located at a distance of 150 km, from Yuksom, New Jalpari Railway station is considered to be the nearest one. Similarly, you have to hire a taxi or bus to the destination.

Road– By road to reach Yuksom is quite challenging and especially try to avoid to travel in night hours. Also, private cabs are the best way to commute to this town.
