Nawalgarh is one of the biggest towns in Rajasthan and a place full of activity. It lies in the Jhunjhunu district of the royal state of Rajasthan. It is situated mid way between Jhunjhunu and Sikar. The town is well known for its havelis. The town has well connected road and rail routes. Even though it is a big town, the good thing is that everything is approachable and at a walking distance away from the bus station. The key attraction of this place is the Nawalgarh Fort which was built by Thakur Nawal Singh during 1737 AD. Old havelis are converted into hotels here. The havelis have beautiful paintings and mural and are rich in architecture.
