The park is located at a distance of 5 km from Mount Abu and is visited by both the locals as well as the tourists. The purpose of the tank had been breeding of crocodiles that remain the primary activity of the place.
However, photograph enthusiasts are sure to have a field day clicking the brilliant flora along with the diverse fauna of the park. A well-known picnic spot as well, especially during the winter season. There is a man-made sanctuary where one can find multiple crocodiles basking in the sun, out of the tank. It is prohibited to feed the animals in the park though and ones found guilty will be penalised.
Bird watching happens to be an exciting activity here as visitors are sure to come across many different species of birds who fly in from faraway lands. The black bear is an animal that can be found within the park as well. However, one needs to be extraordinarily patient and be still while trying to catch a glimpse from the watchtowers erected by the authorities. The lush greenery and peaceful surroundings make it a coveted spot and suitable for a day trip from the bustling city of Mount Abu.
