While exploring the Ladakh’s sites and monastery, don’t forget that it’s got an incredibly rich geological heritage. It’s a small one room museum, outside Sankar Gompa. The Rock and mineral museum is a house to lots of minerals, fossils, precious stones, semi-precious stones. It’s a home to different geological curiosities that Ladakh offers.
