Moore Plains

Moore plain is a stretch of 40 km between Leh and Sarchu on Leh–Manali Highway. Situated at an elevation of 4800 metres and is edged by mountain ranges on both sides.

This is a major attraction for all the bikers heading towards Leh from Manali. At some places the road runs along the Sumkhel Lungpa River featuring some of the amazing sand and rock natural formations. Also, flanked with the beautiful mountains on both sides, these plains are a photographer’s delight and a captivating destination for the nature lovers. The landscapes and the colours keep on changing with every turn and the clear blue sky is an addon to this awesome site.
