Batalik is Indian Administered Ladakh, the centre of all Indo-Pakistani wars. A war-torn land with a captivating view of the Indus, the river can be seen in its full glory. Located at 56 km from Kargil and is well- known for its four villages, Dha, Hanu, Garkon and Darchak, and these villages are famous for its Drokpa tribe and these villages are known as Aryan valley, only few villages are converted into Muslim.
The roads are well maintained, but there are lots of curves and turns, so automatically the speed will go down. Also, the view of the mountains and valleys are amazing and the drive along Indus river till Batalik is an amazing ride, one of the most rememberable and mind-blowing experience.
