A vast garden complex that houses the commemorative monuments to the rules of Jaisalmer make it a solemn place to visit. However, the chhatris, as the monuments are known as, are numerous with one dedicated to each ruler that Jaisalmer has seen for six centuries.
The atmosphere is exceedingly quiet and tranquil and offers the tourists a place to rest after a hectic tour of the city. The shifting sands and wind are the only sounds to be heard for miles apart from the shrieking hawks flying above. The place has been a coveted location for many Bollywood movies, and the tourists are astounded to witness the spectacular sunset from the Bagh.
