Places To Visit In Manali

Manali is a picturesque town that is popular as a tourist destination for Indians and global citizens alike. The snow clad mountains along with the beautiful valleys and the roaring Beas River flowing beside it makes it a wonderful locale for single visitors as well as the touring group. People who love adventure and winter sports will find Manali totally at for there are umpteen activities to do in and around the hillside resort. 1. Rohtang Pass

This is definitely the Number 1 place to visit when in Manali. The high mountainous pass is situated in the Pir Panjal range and serves as the connecting road between Kullu and Lahul & Spiti valleys. The area experiences heavy snowfall and remains closed in winter. It is also possible to reach Ladakh in the State of Jammu & Kashmir via this pass.

There is no traditional idol residing within the cave temple though. A jutting rock is worshipped as the deity of the demo goddess Hadimba.

The area is very close to the Manali city center and accessible by foot.
