The sole hydroelectric project of the island is set up on this river. Saddle peak is the highest point of this island and is located here in Diglipur.

This place is open only for Indian Tourists. The Great Nicobar Island consist of an area of 400 Sqr. Miles. ‘Indira Point’, The southernmost tip of Indian, is located in Great Nicobar Islands. Megapode, a rare bird can be sighted in these islands. Campbell bay is the headquarters of the Great Nicobar Islands.
