DAY 1 – Start your visit with the famous temple of Hadimba located amidst the Dhungri Forest and surrounded by pine trees. The temple is known for its religious essence and some awe aspiring effigy and artifacts constructed out of brass. The pagoda shaped temple is bliss of religious vibes. The museum of Himachal culture and Folk Art houses some of the best yet unknown artifacts of the weapons, instruments, scale models, religious relics and household objects. The Tibetan Monasteries of Himalayan Nyingmapa Gompa and Gadhan Thekchhokling Gampa displays a rich culture of Tibetan art and craft items speaking volumes about the Tibetan history. The Manu temple dedicated to Lord Manu offers a total sense of spirituality and serenity to its visitors. It is visited by a number of tourists. DAY 2 – The Hot Springs of Vashisht Temple will take you into an everlasting dip of hot water. The temple is pyramid shaped relaxing your mind and soul. There are separate baths for men and women. Next visit the Maa Sharvari Temple dedicated t o the Kullu Kings Kuldevi or the Goddess Durga dressed in a seson on festivities on the day of the Dussehra. Visit the Nehru Kund named after the first prime minister of the country which is also one of the natural cold water springs in the country. DAY 3 – Start your day with a picnic to the Rahala Waterfalls with its pristine waters descending from the glaciers and mountains melting. The temples of Tripura Sundari and Gauri Shankar are one of frequented temples of this place. The Arjuna Cave earns a mythological significance and so is a famous tourist destination in the city. It is the place where Pandav Arjun meditated for Pashupati Astra from Lord Indra. Also visit the solitude granting place of the Rohtang Pass which provides you some splendid snow activities to relish in.
