Wherever there is a talk about mountains and holidays at hill stations the very first place that comes to mind is Darjeeling. not just because it’s the easiest and within the reach but because of the beauty, the culture and the food that this place has. the mixed cultures in Darjeeling is the reason why people tiger are so friendly and warm, and that’s the reason why the place is called the Queen of Hills.
Pelling on the other hand is a well-flourished village in the foothills of the mountains that gives the most amazing view of the Himalayan range and amazes the visitors with the beauty of the sunrise that crowns the Kanchenjunga rance every morning.
Yuksom is the ancient capital of Sikkim and is famous for its ancient and spiritual belongingness. the place is home to some of the most beautiful monasteries and gives its tourist the ultimate peace that one needs during vacation.
You will be meeting our representative at the arrival in either Bagdogra airport or NJP station and then you will be transferred to Darjeeling where the evening will be free for you to explore the beauty of the place and then you will retire in the hotel for the night.
The day will begin very ear. The afternoon would be spent in visiting the Botanical garden and National History Museum are the second places that you will visit for the day. After a full day of visiting some of the beautiful places, you can retire in the hotel in Darjeeling.
Post breakfast you will check out from the hotel in Darjeeling as you will be driven to Pelling. After check-in in the hotel is done your day begins in Pelling with an excursion to Sango-Choeling Monastery. That’s all for the day so you can take a rest in the hotel.
Post breakfast in Pelling you will be driven to Yuksum. For more adventure, we will take you on a walking expedition to Bakhim (12 km) located at 3005m. The place is well known for its Himalayan fauna and the beautiful orchids, avians and butterflies that will amaze you. The night will be an adventurous one under the open sky in the trekker’s camp.
You will be welcoming the morning with the beautiful butterfly view and the post-breakfast it’s a trek downhill to Yuksum. The rest of the day is left vacant for you to rest in the hotel.
After you have a hearty breakfast in Yuksum you will be travelling to Gangtok where your day will just be reserved for the visit of the orchid farms. Later you can call it a day in the hotel.
Being in the foothills Kqalimpong is full of orchid farms that you can visit after you are driven to Kalimpong post breakfast at Gangtok.
The day is kept for the Lava butterfly watching, orchid farm visits and lectures that will be very informative about orchids. That shall be all for the day.
Your trip ends here so you will be driven back to IXB/NJP station and from there you can depart to your hometown.
