The morning when the sun seems to be rising from behind the mountain peak and when the sun rays crown the mountains, your vacation seems worth it. Sikkim and Darjeeling give you that feeling. On the one hand, Darjeeling is called the queen of Hills because of being one of the oldest and most beautiful hill stations; Gangtok is regarded as one of the most modern cities as the capital of Sikkim.
On the other hand, Pelling is a tiny village in the foothills that holds on to the Nepali cultures. The places have a huge crowd attraction because of the kind of food that’s way different from plains and the most convenient market for shopping, especially for women.
If you are planning for a 7 night/ 8 days trip, we bet you are bound to fall in love with every corner of these places.
Our executive will receive you on the arrival of New Jalpaiguri station or at the Bagdogra Airport. You will then be transferred to Gangtok, that’s the capital of Sikkim and one of the most beautiful places.
The evening is kept free for you to explore the place on your own.
It’s an overnight stay in the hotel in Gangtok.
The day is divided into two halves for sightseeing.
The first half is for visiting places like Hanuman Talk, Ganesh Talk & Tashi View Point.
after taking a rest for an hour and having lunch in the hotel, the second half has seven points for sightseeing:
The Rumtek Monastery,
Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms,
Enchy Monastery,
Research Institute of Tibetology,
Do-Dul-Chorten (Stupa ),
Botanical Garden & Flower show.
The evening is kept free after a hectic day so you can rest in the hotel or walk around the local market and do your shopping.
Tsomgo Lake – situated at the height of 3,780 Mts is the first natural beauty you see in Gangtok the next day.
Also, visit Baba Mandir – the shrine maid in memory of sepoy Harbhajan Singh.
After returning to Gangtok, you stay in the hotel for the night.
Post breakfast, we take you to Pelling, were, on the way, you get to see the spectacular Eastern Himalayan Range from Pelling.
It’s an overnight stay in Pelling, so you can rest on arrival after all the formalities are done in the hotel.
It is a full day planned trip to make the most of Pelling.
We start from Rimbi Water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kanchandzonga waterfalls, Khechepadi wishing Lake. Take a break and have lunch there and then move to the second half of the day.
We cover the Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabedentse Ruins (2nd capital of Sikkim ), Tikjuk viewpoint, Helipad ground in the second half of the day.
Stretch your legs in the overnight stay in Pelling
Your first sightseeing will be around 4:00 in the morning: a visit to Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop.
After that, you can come back and have breakfast in the hotel. And then we shall take you to 7 points that start from: The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetans Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Lloyd’s Botanical Garden, Ropeway ( Only viewpoint ).
The same day we leave for Gangtok, and after checking in, we have an overnight stay there.
Your trip ends today, so the first half of the day is kept free for you to pack your things.
After that’s done, we transfer you to either NJP/IXB.
