Overview
Amidst the mountains and rivers is the panoramic beauty of the small place called Kalimpong that is famous for its age-old missionaries, churches and monasteries. about 67 km from Siliguri this place can be reached from Both Siliguri and Darjeeling and is one of the most beautiful and flourishing townships in the foothills. Pelling is said to be the natural abode as it’s located in the foothills and is ideal for a camping and trekking site
when you arrive at Bagdogra airport or NJP station our executive will be driving you to Kalimpong and it will be an overnight stay there.
Post breakfast at the hotel the day is planned for an excursion to Lava and Loleygaon.the best part of the place is the food that will tickle your taste buds and once you enjoy the local food you will take a rest in the hotel in Kalimpong.
the first half of the day is four the city tour that will begin post-breakfast. Post lunch you will be visiting the orchid farms. you will be explained in detail about orchids in the evening through a slid show and lectures so that’s going to be an informative part of your vacation. After that you can retire at the hotel for the night.
we begine the day early as you will be driven to Pelling from Kalimpong. An excursion is planned to Sango-Choling Monastery and the village. Its an overnight stay at the hotel in pelling.
The fifth is for travelling again to Yuksum post breakfast. to feel the beauty of nature you will be taken to Dubdi Monastery on foot. Then you can rest at the hotel in Yuksum.
You will be travelling to darjeeling on this day and once you check into the hotel you will be atking rest in the hotel and if you wish you can enjoy the locak places and market all by yourself.
The following day begins early with the visit to Tiger Hill and Ghoom Monastery. after witnessing the sun rising and crowning the Himalayan range, you will be dropped back in the hotel for breakfast by jeep. In the second half you will see the Botanical Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoo and Tibetan Refugee Center. The night would again be spent at the hotel in Darjeeling.
your trip ends here so you will be dropped back to the railway station or Bagdogra airport depending on your train or flight timing.
